Ratan Tata to Invest in Tork Motors a Pune Based Electric Two-wheeler Start-up.

The electric two-wheeler called by the name T6X is set to launch in the next few months by Tork Motors.

The Manufacturer is based in Bhosari MIDC, Pune. As Pune is the largest automobile of India.

This electric motorcycle assures a top speed of 100kmph and the bike has a good range of 100 km on a single charge.

The bike has Tork Intuitive Response Operating System(TIROS), which enables it to analyse the data and compile it in real-time.

Above all, this system helps in tracking the range forecasts, real-time power consumption and power management and more.

The charging capability of the bike is 80 per cent in an hour. above all, this bike is the first product of this start-up.

The electric motorcycle is powered by Lithium-ion battery and However, the battery is dust and waterproof.

The T6X will be priced around 1.5 lakh after the launch and will compete with the bikes in 125cc – 200cc segment.

Tork motors were testing its prototype from last 4 years.

As the government is pushing and encouraging customers to purchase electric vehicles in India.

As another electric vehicle manufacturer like Okinawa, Ather Energy and Revolt are also present.

Above all, Tork Motors is a new entrant in this market.

Tork Motors has also raised funds from Bhavish Aggarwal of Ola Cabs and Bharat Forge.

In a statement by Mr.Ratan Tata said, “In the last few years, there has been a sea of changes in the attitude towards electric vehicles. This industry is changing rapidly and I place good value on the sound logic and the approach that the team at Tork Motors has taken”

“An investment by him is an endorsement of the long-held belief by us that the Indian auto sector is going through a phase of huge growth and transformation,” The Founder and CEO Kapil Shelke said.
